Putting down roots is a noble and rare ideal in today’s world. We found an innovative and entrepreneurial couple with a vision to create a forever home and a new life in bustling Prince Edward County. With big plans for their newly purchased home, nestled on an acreage perfect for a future hobby farm and planned expansion, we set to work through two phases of renovations. Phase one included new interior doors, hardware, paint and flooring throughout the home. Phase two included a renovation of the main living area with a new and chic kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and pantry. Custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a to-die-for oven make this space exquisite, the ideal space for entertaining and cooking.
We hired Marquise Construction and we are extremely pleased with the results. Matt and his team are talented, quick, clean, honest and easy to work with. My favourite features of the space are all ideas Matt gave us. We love the elevated lighting, the unique finishes and our overall experience.

A garage can be many things, and this one is ALL of those things! A statement of design, a workshop, an office, and a showroom, not to mention a large storage space for toys and gear. From the ground up, we worked with our clients to create a truly multifunctional space, without compromising design and style. It boasts in floor heating, two levels of usable space, and a professional office, production area and showroom separate from the shop and garage area.

An iconic building in Belleville, Ontario, this gorgeous East Hill mansion had been converted into a bed and breakfast years ago. Purchased by two local professionals, their dream was to turn this 6000 square foot house into their family home, restoring it to its former glory while also integrating modern accents and conveniences. Marquise Construction worked with the client from day one, and contracted the project start to finish. From plan drawings to completion day, Marquise meticulously managed all construction and subcontractors, ensuring this large renovation was executed with excellent craftsmanship and care.
LOCHMOR CIDER
NEW COMMERCIAL BUILD COMPLETED IN 2018
With a dream to produce hard apple cider, our clients relocated from the USA to Prince Edward County, Ontario, to start Settlers Cider. Marquise Construction worked from the beginning with the plan designers and were responsible for building and contracting the entire project. The new building boasts a 3000 square foot cider production space as well as a gorgeous tasting room with walls of windows looking over exquisite county farmland. It is our passion to create spaces that are unique, one of a kind and distinct for our clients, and it was a privilege to bring this dream to fruition.
Matt & his team were great to work with along the whole process – they deliver what they say they will on time & on budget. In addition, they are easy people to work with – responsive to any communication and craftsmen in their trades…. Once work started on site, Matt was diligent on implementing the design, engaging us in the process and advising on adjustments. He was flexible and supportive throughout the build process. Prince Edward County is home to many entrepreneurial artisans who relocate to follow their unique passions. Having relocated to Wellington to pursue their passion of running a distillery, we first met this client while completing work at their business, Kinsip House of Fine Spirits. Their next project was to find and create their dream home. Marquise Construction contracted this complete renovation of a truly unique and notable home on the main street of Wellington. Featuring a modern industrial flare, custom kitchen, and creative touches at every turn, this home brilliantly reflects the unique family that calls it home.
